Ukraine UK Aid is very proud to announce this exclusive and Limited range of handmade Ceramic Ukrainian Dumplings. A more Ukrainian gift, I have never seen!

To celebrate 33 years of Ukrainian Independence, our friends Olena and Anna commissioned local artists to create these very special and unique gifts for us to sell on the store to raise money for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

These Dumplings, or Varenyky, pay homage to the folk symbols and traditions of Ukraine.
They represent the rich history, culture, strength and energy of the Ukrainian people.

The creation of the dumpling symbolises the traditional folk art of pottery, one of the oldest art forms known in Ukraine, handcrafted by skilled artisans and each piece is utterly unique.
Each dumpling is decorated with traditional graphics known as Petrykivka painting.

The Petrykivka painting style has been recognised by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity.
