🇺🇦💙 Mariupol — Маріуполь – Hand-Painted Oil on Canvas by Olena 🎨💛

A small figure with an extraordinary amount of Ukrainian spirit. 🇺🇦💙💛

In “Mariupol”, Olena portrays a determined Ukrainian woman kneeling among broken stones, her long brown braid falling over her uniform. One gloved hand holds her rifle upright while the other rests against the rubble beneath her. 🎨🛡️

A bright blue circle frames her silhouette, bringing vivid colour to the warm ochre and brown tones of her clothing. A little Ukrainian flag on her sleeve adds a meaningful blue-and-yellow detail. 🇺🇦✨

Her torn clothing and marked face tell of hardship, while her steady expression gives the painting its strength. There is a quiet resolve here—a tribute to courage, endurance and the people who remain at the heart of Ukraine’s story. 💙💛🕊️
