56th Separate Motorized Infantry worn patch

This patch was donated to us by our friends in Olyzarivka during our mission in October 2025.

This is the shoulder sleeve insignia of the 56th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade of the Ukrainian Ground Forces. 

• The brigade was formed in 2015 and is part of Ukraine's Operational Command South. 
  
• The unit was stationed in Mariupol, Donetsk region. 
  
• The brigade has fought in the Russo-Ukrainian War and was involved in the Siege of Mariupol and the Battle of Bakhmut. 
  
• The insignia depicts a blue star, two crossed spears, and a wavy blue line representing the sea, which reflects the brigade's initial stationing in the seaside city of Mariupol.
