• Activism: A "pioneer of modernism," she was a fierce advocate for Ukrainian independence and women's rights.
• Resilience: Despite battling bone tuberculosis from a young age, she mastered approximately 11 languages and remained incredibly prolific throughout her life.
• Cultural Icon: Her face is featured on the 200 Ukrainian hryvnia banknote.
