🇺🇦 Black & Gold Botanical Shell Casing — Hand-Painted Ukrainian Keepsake

Title
🇺🇦 Black & Gold Botanical Shell Casing — Hand-Painted Ukrainian Keepsake

Description
A little gold, a lot of heart, and quite a change of career. 💛

Given to Olena by residents of the Ivankiv area, then generously donated to us for fundraising, this hand-painted shell casing has been transformed into a striking decorative keepsake.

A black background sets off a sweeping gold leafy branch, delicate white highlights and flowing gold script, with gold-painted accents around the rim and base. Visible brushstrokes give it the character of a piece painted by hand.

Believed to be from approximately 23mm ammunition, this casing may have been fired in defence of Ukraine’s skies, although its exact service history has not been confirmed. Today, it serves a different purpose: art that helps support Ukraine.

These painted casings are now in short supply, as getting them out of Ukraine has become increasingly difficult. Availability is limited, and we cannot promise when more will arrive.

100% inert, this is a decorative keepsake. Ownership and import requirements vary by location, so please check the rules where you live before ordering.

An unusual gift, a meaningful addition to a collection, or something for that shelf which has been looking suspiciously ordinary.

Approximate measurements:

• Height: 15cm

• Base diameter: 32mm

• Believed original calibre: 23mm

Its original surface marks and individual paintwork are part of its character.

Every penny spent in our store goes towards helping Ukraine. 💙💛
