Given to Olena by residents of the Ivankiv area, then generously donated to us for fundraising, this decorated casing features a dramatic blue eye with a golden Ukrainian Tryzub at its centre.

Dark lashes and deep blue shading frame the eye, while flowing orange and gold patterns spread beneath it. A blue-painted neck and golden-yellow base complete the design, creating a bold contrast between cool and warm colours.

An unusual gift for an art lover or supporter of Ukraine, and a distinctive addition to a display. Put it on your bookshelf and even the unread books might start behaving themselves. 😉

Believed to be from approximately 12.7mm (.50 calibre) ammunition, this casing may have been fired in defence of Ukraine’s skies, although its exact service history has not been confirmed. Now repurposed as a decorative keepsake, it helps support Ukraine through art and fundraising.

These decorated casings are now in short supply, as getting them out of Ukraine has become increasingly difficult. Availability is limited, and we cannot promise when more will arrive.
