BUKHANKAhub — Kristina’s Exclusive Yakudza Morale Patch

Everyone needs a hobby. According to Kristina, Yakudza’s involves Bukhankas—and a rather extensive video collection.

Created by Kristina specifically for a highly skilled and brave drone pilot with the military call sign “Yakudza,” whom she previously served alongside, this personal patch turns an inside joke into a cheeky design: a white Bukhanka van beside a suspiciously familiar yellow-and-black “hub” logo.

The Story Behind the Patch

Bukhanka vans are used by Russian forces for frontline logistics. Commonly nicknamed “loaves” because their boxy, rounded shape resembles a loaf of white bread, they have become a particular focus of Yakudza’s attention.

Kristina explains that he has built up a sizeable collection of footage documenting his attacks on these vehicles. Naturally, his friends have developed a theory: perhaps he secretly rewatches the videos and runs a private website for people who share his very specific tastes.

And so, BUKHANKAhub was born.

Behind the cheeky joke is Kristina’s affection and respect for a talented pilot she knows personally. It’s the sort of humour that comes from working together under extraordinary circumstances.
