Captured Russian VT-40 Bomber drone

Bomber Drone actually attacked the position that our dear friend Andriy was located at in December 2025. It was part of a sustained barrage of both fpv and bomber drones that tried and failed to take out his position. This actual drone was taken down by EW Jammers that overwhelm the comms of the drone and cause it to crash. The internals of the drone are quite intact although not functional, and a lot of the working parts have been removed already.

FPV (First Person View) loitering munition, identified as a Russian "VT-40" (also known as "Sudny Den" or "Judgment Day")kamikaze drone. These drones are designed as cost-effective, expendable weapons for use in high-intensity conflict zones like Ukraine. 

Key Characteristics and Identification

Frame and Construction: Unlike hobbyist drones made primarily of carbon fiber, this model uses laser-cut aluminum for its central body and frame to reduce production costs. It typically features an "X" or "Deadcat" geometry designed for stability during high-speed flight.

Technical Specifications:

Size: Most variations of this specific design are 10-inch long-range platforms.

Payload: They are capable of carrying heavy payloads (typically 1.5kg to 4kg) consisting of explosives.

Frequency: Captured units have been found operating on various frequencies, including 1.4 GHz and 1555 MHz.

Unique Visual Markers:

The elongated, rectangular metal body with exposed standoffs.

Yellow XT60 power connector extending from the rear.

Manual markings often found on the frame, such as "АК 225".

This drone has been professionally deactivated by Sappers in his unit, and all dangerous materials have been removed rendering this safe to own. 

This is a real artefact of the war of Ukraine and thus will only appeal to the true collector of war memorabilia.
