FREELANCER — Worn Russian Trophy Patch
FREELANCER — Worn Russian Trophy Patch
Couldn't load pickup availability
This worn Russian trophy patch, taken from a Russian soldier, features an embroidered rifle across a globe, with compass directions and bold “FREELANCER” lettering.
Its frayed black border and visible wear reflect its used condition, shown in the photographs of both the front and reverse.
Design & Wording
The circular design combines an olive-green background, orange globe and pale embroidered rifle. Around the lower edge is the Russian phrase:
“ГОРЯЩИЕ ТУРЫ В ГОРЯЧИЕ ТОЧКИ”
A loose English translation is “Last-minute tours to conflict hotspots”—a dark play on travel advertising and military deployments.
The FREELANCER wording forms part of the design; it does not, by itself, establish the wearer’s unit or affiliation.
Provenance & Condition
This is a previously worn patch taken from a Russian soldier and brought back from Ukraine as a trophy.
Further details about its recovery are being sought. No specific unit, location or date of recovery is currently confirmed.
Please examine the photographs carefully: the patch has substantial fraying around its edge and visible signs of use.
