Store Purchased National Guard of Ukraine

This patch represents the National Guard of Ukraine (НГУ - Natsionalna Hvardiia Ukrainy), a military formation with law enforcement functions under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. 

Patch Design and Symbols

• Central Imagery: The patch features a stylized "cyborg" or tactical helmet. Behind the helmet are two crossed assault rifles and several cartridges, symbolizing the unit's combat readiness and defensive mission.
• State Emblem: At the top center of the helmet is the Tryzub (Trident), Ukraine’s national coat of arms, which dates back to the 10th-century Kievan Rus and signifies national identity and sovereignty.
• Motto: The bottom scroll contains the official motto of the National Guard: "Честь, Мужність, Закон" (Honor, Courage, Law). 

Background on the National Guard

The National Guard is intended to protect the lives and rights of citizens and the state from criminal and other threats. Historically, it claims the legacy of the Gendarmerie of the Ukrainian People's Republic (1918–1919). In modern times, it plays a critical role in Ukraine's defense, particularly following the full-scale invasion in 2022, which saw a surge in the use of such patriotic and unit-specific insignia
