Given to Olena by residents of the Ivankiv area, then generously donated to us for fundraising, this decorated casing features an embroidery-style pattern in red, cream-white and black.

Repeating diamonds, stepped shapes and small cross motifs wrap around the body, creating the appearance of stitched textile decoration. A matching red neck and base complete this striking design.

A meaningful gift for someone who loves Ukrainian decorative traditions, or a colourful addition to your own collection. It even looks dressed for the occasion — considerably more organised than most of us. 😉

Believed to be from 12.7mm (.50 calibre) ammunition, this casing may have been fired in defence of Ukraine’s skies, although its exact service history has not been confirmed. Now repurposed for display, it continues helping Ukraine through fundraising.

These decorated casings are now in short supply, as getting them out of Ukraine has become increasingly difficult. Availability is limited, and we cannot promise when more will arrive.
