Ukrainian Mechanised Troops — Blue Trident Embroidered Patch

This distinctive Ukrainian Mechanised Troops patch features a bold blue embroidered trident on an olive-green shield, framed by a matching olive stitched border.

Its simple design carries a specific meaning: the blue trident identifies the Mechanised Troops of Ukraine’s Ground Forces, making the colour an essential part of the insignia.

Design & Military Significance

The stylised trident dominates the patch, with vivid blue stitching standing out against the subdued fabric background.

This is a branch insignia shared by mechanised troops, rather than the identifying emblem of an individual brigade. It makes a meaningful addition to a collection exploring the different branches and traditions of Ukraine’s armed forces.
