🇺🇦 Ukrainian Mine Warning Flag — Unused, Soldier-Gifted Collector’s Piece

🇺🇦 Ukrainian Mine Warning Flag — Unused, Soldier-Gifted Collector’s Piece

A simple design with a serious meaning, this red triangular mine warning flag bears a bold white “М” and is mounted on a slender metal stake. Flags of this type are a familiar sight in previously occupied areas around Kyiv, serving as reminders of the dangers left behind by war.

📌 Important provenance: this flag was given directly to Ukraine UK Aid by a soldier. It was NOT removed from a minefield and has NEVER been used to mark a mined area. No warning marker was taken out of service to obtain this item.

For collectors of contemporary militaria, it offers a distinctive example of equipment associated with mine awareness and the continuing impact of the war on everyday life. Its bright red fabric, stitched sleeve and metal stake make it a striking and thought-provoking display piece.
