148th Separate Artillery Brigade patch

This patch belongs to the 148th Separate Artillery Brigade (also known as the 148 OABr) of the Airborne Assault Forces of Ukraine. 

Brigade Role: The 148th is an artillery unit specializing in howitzer and self-propelled artillery support for airborne assault operations.

Base: The brigade is historically based in Zhytomyr, a major hub for Ukraine's airborne forces. 

The design is rich in Ukrainian military tradition and history:

The Three Spears: These stylized spears (or arrows) represent the historical continuity of Ukrainian warriors, often associated with the 150th Mechanized Brigade in some contexts, but specifically identifying the 148th's lineage and strike capability.

The Cross: The prominent cross in the upper quadrant is a Cossack cross (cross pattée), a historical symbol of the Ukrainian military used since the era of the Zaporizhzhian Cossacks. It represents strength, faith, and the defense of the homeland.

Color Scheme: This specific version is a subdued/field variant in olive and brown, designed for low visibility on combat uniforms.
