3rd Separate Special Purpose Battalion patch

This patch is from the 3rd Separate Special Purpose Battalion (also known as the 3rd Battalion International Legion), a formation within the International Legion for the Defence of Ukraine. 

Role: The battalion specializes in reconnaissance and small-scale infantry assaults, with a strong emphasis on urban warfare and sabotage operations.

Status: While originally formed under the Territorial Defense Forces, it eventually transitioned to the Ukrainian Ground Forces.

Recent Changes: Reports from early 2026 indicate a major restructuring where many standalone international units, including those within the International Legion, are being disbanded and their personnel reassigned to regular Ukrainian assault regiments to standardize the army's structure
